Installation Instructions:
1. Twist the spring over the bracket for at least 3 cm.
2. Secure the guide on the bike’s frame by tightening the clamps.
3. Do a trial run without the dog. If the heel of your shoe touches the bracket, you have to move the bracket upwards. The ideal distance between heel and bracket is 2 to 3cm.
4. Before use, check if the screws are tight.

Before use: check if the dog guide is properly installed. Not all dogs can walk along with you while you cycle, it depends on their age, build, condition and breed. First ask a vet or dog breeder if your dog is suitable. Do not cycle within two hours of the dog having eating or half an hour before he eats, as it can cause abdominal torsion. Give your dog a bit of water to drink after cycling, but not a full bowl!

During use:

Only use in combination with a dog harness and do not use a collar; the harness distributes the forces across your dog’s body better. If you think your dog is stressed or otherwise uncomfortable, stop cycling immediately. Check your dog’s paw pads on a regular basis.
